งานวิจัยเรื่อง Insights into the epidemiological characteristics, temporal changepoints, and space-time clusters of foot and mouth disease outbreaks in the SEACFMD region to support eradication efforts มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นการวิเคราะห์แนวโน้มและการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางด้านระบาดวิทยาของโรคปากและเท้าเปื่อย (Food and Mouth disease) ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ จีนและมองโกเลีย (SEACMFD region) ผลการศึกษาได้แสดงช่วงสูงสุดของการระบาด การระบาดที่ลดลง การระบาดใหม่ในบางประเทศ คลัสเตอร์เชิงพื้นที่และเวลาของการระบาด รวมถึงการแพร่ระบาดของ FMD virus O/ME-SA/Ind-2001e ทั่วภูมิภาค และได้อภิปายถึงการนำผลไปใช้ในทางนโยบายและความร่วมมือภายในภูมิภาค
