International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, Attends Japan National Day Reception in Celebration of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan’s 66th Birthday

On February 17, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, together with the college’s executive team, attended the Japan National Day Reception held in celebration of the 66th Birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan at Suthep Hall, Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

On this occasion, Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, President of Chiang Mai University, along with the university’s executive team, also attended the reception to demonstrate the strong and longstanding relationship between Chiang Mai University and Japan.

The event featured congratulatory remarks delivered by Mr. HARADA Masaru, Consul-General of Japan in Chiang Mai, and Mr. Ratthaphon Naradisorn, Governor of Chiang Mai Province, who conveyed their best wishes for His Majesty’s continued good health, happiness, and longevity.

The participation of the International College of Digital Innovation reflects the close and friendly relations between Chiang Mai University and Japan and reinforces the university’s commitment to strengthening academic, research, and innovation collaboration with international partners, contributing to sustainable global engagement.
