CMU SDGs
On Monday, 17 November 2025, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University (MIdS CMU), in collaboration with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), organized a training session on “Sustainable Agriculture for Low-Carbon Products.” This short-course training is part of the project Sustainability Beyond Net Zero (Beyond-Z)—a new program under consortium in Integrated Science Program of MIdS CMU. . The session was led by Professor Dr. Puangrat Kaewlom, Deputy Dean of MIdS CMU, who delivered the opening remarks and served as a guest lecturer. The training also featured Dr. Teerasant Boonupara, Managing Director of Living Soil Co., Ltd., as an expert instructor. Participants — including farmers, developers, and individuals interested in sustainable agriculture — learned about topics such as: How the agricultural world is changing How farmers can adapt Principles of sustainable cultivation Why low-carbon products matter How to grow for low-carbon outcomes How sustainable, low-carbon practices can increase market value The training was held at Building 2, MIdS CMU.
