RIHES Researcher Advances International Collaboration in Mental Health and NCD Research

Dr. Myo Zin Oo, a researcher at the Research Institute for Health Sciences (RIHES), Chiang Mai University, actively participated in several international events focused on mental health to promote knowledge exchange and foster collaboration in non-communicable disease (NCD) research with global partners.

He took part in the International Mental Health Training, organized by the Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). The training was held online from June 16–27, 2025, and onsite on June 30 and July 4, 2025.

In addition, Dr. Myo Zin Oo attended the 24th Annual International Mental Health Conference 2025, held in Bangkok from July 1–3, 2025, where he delivered an oral presentation titled:

“Depression as a Risk Factor for Cardiometabolic Multimorbidity: A Protocol for a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis”

These activities highlight the strong commitment of RIHES and Chiang Mai University to advancing scientific knowledge in mental health and NCDs, while continuously promoting sustainable international research collaboration.
