ICDI Researcher Receives Best Research Presentation Award at Maejo University International Conference

Dr. Siva Shankar Ramasamy, from the International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, Thailand, received the Best Research Presentation Award at the International Conference on Renewable Energy, Sustainable Environment, Agricultural and Allied Health Sciences, and Artificial Intelligence Technologies, held at Maejo University on 22–23 December 2025.

The award was presented by Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University. Dr. Siva presented his research titled “Reducing Flood Damage and Improving the Agricultural Supply Chain in Flood-Affected Regions (Chiang Rai and Hat Yai) of Thailand Using Artificial Intelligence.”

Senior administrators from Maejo University also extended their congratulations, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Nigran Homoung, Dean of Renewable Energy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yuwalee Unaprom, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rapeephun Duangtungee, Dean of Maejo University International College, along with the conference organizers and technical session chairs, Dr. Rameshprabu Ramraj and Dr. Prakash Bhuyar.

In addition to receiving the award, Dr. Siva served as a Technical Session Chair for two sessions during the conference. The event emphasized the importance of academic collaboration and mutual support among researchers and scholars in Thailand.
